One fine day you see someone from behind in a crowd and a silent gasp escapes your soul. Nostalgia hits you like a warm shower and you are fighting the kaleidoscope of thousand by gone memories and moments.
The curve of the neck, the crease on the hand holding the cell phone, everything resembles the person you knew inside out. What is he doing here? He cant possibly be here..
You are conjuring thousand questions to ask, thousand complaints to make. What if he doesnt recognize? What if he has already moved on? And similar thoughts swarming in your head.
Then the dreaded moment comes when he turns and he is a stranger indeed. All you are left with is a tearful smile, a song in your head and whole day to reminisce about the past.
There are days like this..
So true .. this is .. amid a crowd you suddenly see and emotions .. race within the entire body .. happy a little . worried a bit .. u look closer only to realize .. its not the one who is a past and yet so fresh in the subconscious mind..

DeleteU know the most poetic words take birth when one is either depressed or is going through a period of unrequited love....so it's no surprise that you are coming up with the kind of posts you are coming up with.....
ReplyDeleteRitesh, ye unrequited aur depressed ka tag mat laga, people will get wrong impression.. :D

ReplyDeletedays like these come and go, quite cruelly infact, making a mockery of our subtle emotions.
