You can scream all you want,
You can shout it out loud,
If they don't want to hear,
You can't make them listen.
You can burn your soul,
You can crush your dreams,
If they don't want to watch,
You can't make them see.
You can expose your wounds,
You can bleed all you want,
If they don't want to touch.
You can't make them feel.
You can shout it out loud,
If they don't want to hear,
You can't make them listen.
You can burn your soul,
You can crush your dreams,
If they don't want to watch,
You can't make them see.
You can expose your wounds,
You can bleed all you want,
If they don't want to touch.
You can't make them feel.
In general, it is true. Everyone has their own perspective and they will do what they want to, now what you want them to...
ReplyDeletevery true.....we can be who we want others to be but we cannot decide how they will be. Have to just accept them as they are. Things do become easier by that. I have replied to ur valid question in my blog :)
ReplyDeletewow! Your words scream in pain.. apathy is truly the curse of our society.. it is easier to ignore than to acknowledge someone in need of help...
ReplyDeleteThis is extremely relevant in this day and age when only action and reaction can bring about change... the time to stand back and behave like the proverbial three monkeys is long gone!
Achingly touching! Loved it!
ReplyDeletePainfully beautiful. I just feel (almost) the same now. So I know that emotion behind the words. Simply touched !
ReplyDeleteIts kind of true, I guess.
