Scream in your head

You can scream all you want,
You can shout it out loud,
If they don't want to hear,
You can't make them listen.

You can burn your soul,
You can crush your dreams,
If they don't want to watch,
You can't make them see.

You can expose your wounds,
You can bleed all you want,
If they don't want to touch.
You can't make them feel.

  1. In general, it is true. Everyone has their own perspective and they will do what they want to, now what you want them to...

  2. very true.....we can be who we want others to be but we cannot decide how they will be. Have to just accept them as they are. Things do become easier by that. I have replied to ur valid question in my blog :)

  3. wow! Your words scream in pain.. apathy is truly the curse of our society.. it is easier to ignore than to acknowledge someone in need of help...

This is extremely relevant in this day and age when only action and reaction can bring about change... the time to stand back and behave like the proverbial three monkeys is long gone!

  4. Painfully beautiful. I just feel (almost) the same now. So I know that emotion behind the words. Simply touched !

  5. A bright little soul bewildered on this mundane land..
Searches for its identity like a grain in the desert sand...

  6. We have always been there . A bitter truth told in a simple yet sharp manner . Loved the boldness shadowing in the lines .

  7. You're so right...you can't make anyone notice or feel what they don't want to. There is a heartbreak in this...good writing!

  10. So very true. You really cannot make a person take in what they do not want to take in! Well expressed.
