Divine intervention.

I rest
My trust in you
Pulled me from abysmal ditch
Soaked me in translucent divinity
elevated my dreams at your feet cocooned
I pledge my eternal being to you
Lord I pray to salvage
Mangled soul so
I rest.

This poem is shared with Theme Thursday and this
Is rictameter form where we write in 2-4-6-8-10-8-6-4-2 and
The first and last line is same, this I learnt on

  10. I agree with the others here, that is a beautiful poem and heartfelt too. Putting all of your trust in God is not an easy thing to do and most of us fight tooth and nail in our refusal to do so, but this poem makes our fighting seem so unimportant and that life would be so much better if we chose to give all of our trust to God.

Thank for sharing this with Theme Thursday, it truly gives us something to think about. May you have a peaceful and blessed week.

    God bless.
