Well first of all thanks to those 3 terrific readers who think I am worthy of this award..It means a lot and the delay is only because of those 11 bloggers whom I have to pass on this award...blame them.
- Fatima or fatty for me whom I have had the pleasure of meeting personally through Indimeet, and who writes on Clandestine Rendezvous. She herself is a very thoughtful writer and expresses well when it comes to personal thoughts.
- Meenakshi, and my proud co-winner in BAT feb 2013. I have read few of her write ups and she is passionate about her writing ,shows in her work. An Extraordinary ordinary life.
- Karan Aylawadi , and no he doesnt hail from allahabad..:P I have known him for a pretty short time but whatever I read I liked. His work can be seen on The soiled Path.
Now again this award will be incomplete if I fail to mention few people who pushed me ahead in the blog world. The Fool, who needs no introduction. Suresh Chandrasekaran proud owner Of Life is like this, Vinay or better known as Leo, Stephen at The solitary writer, Harshal who helped me in technical stuff......Phewww I am already tired....
There are 33 questions to answer, and hence the 11 thing I am supposed to tell about me can wait.

Its an art of escaping from the brutal world, and taking shelter in your self created land, where even if you fall you fall in your own soft palms.

It will always be Remembrance by Danielle Steel.
6. What is Love to you?

There are many, but every moment I have spent on stage, anchoring, singing, dancing or even as mundane as a participant in quiz... is worth living again.
8. Why is the night sky black if there are infinity of stars??
I could bore you to death if I give a scientific explanation, so I will spare you that. If the night sky will also be bright, how will we differentiate between day and night... :P

MEENAKSHI'S QUERIES...

would you choose to be?
I would really love to be God for one day.(lot of reasons)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am done with the tough part, now starts the toughest...passing it on to 11 bloggers, well I have not found all those 11 but I promise as I will keep finding I will add to my list. Here are the few I think deserve to get the award.
1. Anunoy Samanta - I really like his travellogue and the beautiful pics he clicks, also he does a good job of giving words to them, also he hails from my own college
2. Pratik Mohapatra- Who writes about everything under the sun...
3. Sapna - Whom I have read recently but I liked her writing so much that I decided to pass on the baton.
4. Manu Nigam- he is a terrific satirist and comes with great posts.
5. Maverick- Thats what he calls him though I know his real name, but since he wishes to remain anonymous, he writes quite dark.
6. A dreamy Gal- Im still to learn her real name, but this girl is the most generous person I have seen in blog world, always has something to add to every write up. I have read a few of her articles and as her name suggests she lives in a dreamy world.. she already has a fan following.
7. Himanshu Nagpal- He too is a travel freak and if you want any info on the popular holiday destination he sure can help.
8. Ritesh Agarwal-He is already a free lancer and shares my nick name as well. he writes wonderful 55 fiction which i still have to attempt.
9. Dan German- He writes at Whiskey, painkillers and speed and again as the name suggest his writing is quite dark and a break from the fake sunshine of the world.
10. Bobby Stevenson- He is the proud owner of A Pen in my heart and once again a brilliant writer.
Thus end my exhausting post and the list, I am not sure whether everyone is goin to accept the award or not but I am sure people will love reading the ones I have passed on the award to.
Thank you for enduring me through such a longgggg post but rules are rules... :D
So far so good.

Hey Ratika! Congratulations - and thank your lucky stars that I refrained from handing out Liebsters or you would have had another set of 11 questions to answer :)
ReplyDeleteI am honored that you thought that I had in any way been of assistance in your blogging journey.
thank you so much,
ReplyDeleteit would be ungrateful of me to take all the credits to myself.
regards.
Nice reading your answers and sweet of you to mention me.
ReplyDeleteI'm still amazed that I read each and every word of this loong post. I usually never read very long posts coz i hate e-reading (ya, am still into paperbacks). But you wrote this post in a very absorbing manner, so i did get..well...absorbed. More importantly, I got to know a bit about you. What delighted me is that your fav book is by Danielle Steel. Steel features in my 'top 5 fav authors'. Ihavn't read 'Remembrance', but now i think i will have to.
ReplyDeletePS- I strongly recommend you to read 'Mixed Blessings' (by Steel only).
PPS- I have read only 3 books by Steel, but am already a big big fan.
PPPS- Sorry, i forgot to congratulate you. It's really raining Leibsters out here. May be, you could tell the clouds to drift over to my blog some day...it's a desert :P
PPPPS- I think this is my longest comment ever on a blogpost. But your looong post deserved it. :)

ReplyDeletewell deserved award definitely. thanks for the nomination, really appreciate.

Himanshu

ReplyDeleteWishing you many more accolades to come!
Cheers :)
Thank You!
ReplyDeleteManu Nigam actually rechecked the meaning of the word "terrific" :D
Kidding. Actually it's good to finally get some recognition for being too kick-ass for the world to handle. Phew. Kidding now!
The truth is, going by the rules, I don't have anyone to nominate. (Unless aapko hi nominate kar sakte hain :P) I don't read any blogs. Not that it's about the deserved-ness, a few among those I did read in years have been perfection. I've seen I don't fit into bloggers' social circle of commenting and inviting :| Skin-crawling. (Or could be a cribbing for not having any readers :D) Either way, I don't have link-backs.
But I'll enjoy my short stint at the podium answering the Qs, ight away. I hope it's as easy as I think! :)
Reading the Bourne thing makes me glad to be doing this. Baaki, very few blogs I read, and I always go yaaba yaaba yaaba :D
Hearty congratsX3:):):)
